no update on interview
had an interview in the Chicagofield office August 21 (19 days ago), still no decision updates . interview went well, we were only asked 2 questions and the I-485 part. I’m anxious! I’ve been refreshing constantly. the update on there is that case is being actively reviewed by USCIS no outstanding issues for now!
I’m so worried it’s taking too long.
the interviewer said we should be expecting update 1-2wks but it’s been over 2 wks now

@grace Jo When did you receive the interview schedule or notice? I’m also in line to schedule an interview once a slot becomes available in Chicago. Just wanted to know the timeline .

@Sam .. I received the interview notice on July 31, had the interview August 21.

@grace jo Did you receive any updates about your case before receiving the interview notice? My case status changed at the end of August, but I haven’t received the interview notice yet.

@grace Jo i did mine interview July 28 and i got my approval last Thursday and today i got an email saying card is being produced, so hopefully soon.

@grace Jo Did mine at the same office on June 16, very smooth and kind officers, approval for l-130 came through on july 21 but now it’s pure silence for the l-485. Wishing us both good news very very soon

@Z h she asked us how we met and confirmed that our Marriage is almost 3yrs. she also asked us who cooks and from there the conversation was all about food and how much she loves Nigerian food then she started the interview for the form I-485 (yes or no) . interview lasted about 15mins
