No Update on I-765 After Biometrics – I-485 Interview Scheduled
I submitted my application for employment authorization together with my I-485 application on November 18 last year, but there has been no update on my I-765 since my biometrics appointment in December. Now, I’ve been scheduled for an interview for my I-485. Is anyone else in the same situation?

Yes I've had that happen as well. It's a good thing though because once the greencard is approved after the interview you no longer need the EAD
