No update for 1 year after interview
Priority date: Sept 2021
I had my interview on May 2024 in the local field office. It has been almost a year and my case status still says “Interview was Scheduled “ and it’s hasn’t changed for more than a year now. My interview was okay, just normal questions about i485, current sponsor, how I found the sponsor and so on. I haven’t received any rfe’s yet and looks like the case is still in the field office.
Anyone with similar scenario and not getting any updates even after the interview? Anyone has any idea why they haven’t updated anything?
I know my PD is not current but still not seeing any update even after this long is surprising.

@Sumit A PD Sep 9, 2021 here. I had my interview back in Feb 2024. And, my case is updated to Case Remains pending after interview.

why would there be any update? next step is literally adjudication, which they can’t do bc… ur not current. chill. there’s many people who are current and also haven’t gotten any update either. my pd is 03-2021, for example.

I would say it’s approved and just waiting your PD becomes current.

PD Aug 2021, interviewed Dec 2023 in FO no update yet, tried to asked help from our Senator but the response from USCIS is waiting for your PD to be current.

@Felipe C most of the people have case remains pending after the interview. just not sure why the status isn’t changed. Hopefully no another interview or rfes 🥲

@Aa R. hopefully no Rfe or another interview after being current. Just curious why the case is still in field office, most of the cases are in NBC once the application review is done.
