no update after interview cancellation
My interview was scheduled on feb 12th. for I130 & i485( filing date October 7th).
on jan 13th a notification came saying my interview is cancelled.
Ever since then, there have been no update in my case. i talked to emma, they said processing as normal but nothing informative.
The field office is oklahama city.
My country is also on the 75 paused list.
however, since Im at the states it shouldnt effect, right?
thanks and let me know if anyone is on the same boat.

@asking about As long as you show up on any ban, regardless of where you are, your case will be paused.

A canceled interview usually just means the case went back into the queue for rescheduling or for a possible interview waiver; by itself it is not a denial signal. I would not assume the “paused country” issue is irrelevant, though: USCIS’s March 30, 2026 alert confirms that strengthened screening and vetting has affected some benefit requests inside the United States as well, not just consular cases abroad.
