I received the same email on March 20, but there was no update. When I asked about it in the EMMA chat, I was just transferred to another center.

I received the email on Jan 13 twice and still nothing change on my 130 or my 485.. hope you get yours approved.. let’s pray!

I waited two days before asking Emma. My PD is December 7, 2023. Is it just one application, or are there other family members involved?

@Lad Casil I have two I-130 cases — one CR1 and one CR2. May I ask which service center you’re with? And is your case CR1?

did u ask Emma if they transfer ur case or not if they didn’t transfer that means there will chance of RFE or approval

same thing happened to me and after I received that email, an actual update happened after a week later

@zaki mohas I asked Emma, and she said there’s no update yet. My case is still under processing, and I just have to keep waiting.

@Amy Nguyen I chat with Emma a couple of days after the actively review and she said, they are reviewing my case and everything is alright and by the ninebt they don’t need nothing. my PD is Feb 01 /2024

@O V Which service center are you with? I chatted with Emma after receiving the email saying ‘We have taken an action on your case’. Some of my friends who have later priority dates than mine have already been approved.

@Amy Nguyen every applicant is different and also the case reviewer is different, I am AOS, my 130 is in Pittsburg and my 485 is in NJ

ask Emma to see what the update was if you’re really stressed. my 130 was approved and then my 485 took 6 weeks additional weeks. I will never be able to comprehend their process. I was legit an immigration pattern FBI agent for the 16 months I spent in the process. it’s a crapshoot is my only overarching comment. what you experienced is NOT uncommon, I know that. @Amy Nguyen side note. the date on my green card which was approved 6 weeks after my 130 has the issue date as the date they approved my 130. which makes me think someone went on lunch break between my two forms and took 6 weeks to click a button. infuriating :)

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 These past few days have been absolutely overwhelming for me. I feel mentally tortured, and I’ve stayed up for three consecutive nights checking my case non-stop. At this point, I feel like I might be suffering from some kind of mental health issue — maybe even depression. I’ve locked myself in my room for three days, not stepping outside, just because of that email saying: ‘We have taken an action on your case.’ I even stayed up all night trying to get in touch with Emma, only to be told: ‘There are no new updates at the moment. Please wait for the next updates from the service center handling your case.’ That felt like a scripted response. I honestly think they just check the same USCIS system we do, not the actual internal case files. If nothing really changed, then why send that email at all? To be honest, it feels like a form of psychological torture. I’ve been waiting for so long. I’m taking care of two small children on my own while my husband is far away. Both of my parents have passed away. This wait is breaking me — emotionally and mentally.

@Amy Nguyen I can totally relate. I was with my family but I felt similarly. I was in 16 months of torture. there is absolutely a light at the end of this tunnel. I suggest you take a break from the apps and logging in for a while. it will happen when you stop checking 100000x a day. Emma is a bitch. I wrote a post about it. sending you a hug 💕
