no progress since fingerprints last year april
My pd is april 2022, applied for i485 and i131 and i765 concurrently. I got 765 in August but for both 485 and 131, there is no update and it has been a year now. Status just keeps saying fingerprints applied nothing else. i am beginning to think the lawyer who applied for my case, is through my consultancy and they might have intentionally delayed things or held information back because as long as i stick with them, they make 20% of my salary and they know i will leave when i get my green card. plus these people keep posting how they got their green card in 3 months and 4 months. Its all extremely frustrating 😑 all uncertainty. Emma keeps giving contradictory info.

try file service request out of processing time for inquiry for your case status or get help from congressman / senator

I485 is your process. take charge and start looking at congressional inquiry/white house expedite. good luck!

i did. but they want to know a real issue. i don't wanna lie or make up someone's death or anything. so what can be a real legit reason to give to the congressman to reach out to the uscis ?

I do not think the lawyer or the company can hold information back to delay your case, at least I am not aware of it. every employer would have used this to keep the employee from leaving.

Ask help from local congress, also you can sue USCIS for a delayed case on your own, you will get a decision within 60 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it, and to get assistance with it "Writ of Mandamus Pro Se"
