No Interview Date - K1 Visa
Hello, my name is Kimberly and I am the U.S. Petitioner. My fiance and I received a notification that the embassy in Tirana, Albania had received our case from nVC on January 11, 2022. Since then, I have sent the required documents to the embassy at least over 2 times in the past year and earlier this year as well, and neither myself or my fiance has gotten the next steps to set up an appointment. We are unsure of what to do. My fiance has tried calling the embassy and all he gets is an automated message throughout the call, and I have sent them an email and they have not responded back. I checked the CEAC website to check to see how our case was going and the status is showing up as expired. I am unsure of what to do.

Oh no, I think that’s not good.. it should not show expired. You are able to do everything yourself, you do not have to wait for the embassy.
Do this ASAP! Complete the DS-160, pay the visa fee, and schedule your interview.

If it’s from January 2022, I am not sure if you’re K-1 is still active..

ignore the letter showing expired ok,your spouse will receive a letter from his home country consulate or embassy when they are ready to process his petition and at that point he will pay for his visa fee and fill out ds 160 then book for medical examination,let him ensure that the medical result be ready before the interview date.I went through that process last year.

NVC had sent us a notification letting us know it got to the embassy back last year, but that's all we have received :(

I will let my fiance know. We wanted to schedule the appointment, but according to his embassy, we have to wait until they give us the instructions on how to sign up for an appointment, which they have never done, even after we had sent the right documents to them (per their instructions).

I haven't received any email or any letter from anyone other than the embassy back in September 2022 and we sent everything they had asked for again but they haven't sent anything ever since we sent them what they had asked for.
