No EB2 NIW Interviews Since August 2023 (Brazil)
Hi all,
My lawyer said that none of their clients have been called for an interview since August 2023 in Rio (Brazil). Is this happening in any other country? Even with the PD current and everything ready to go, they are not calling people in for interviews. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I read that might happen when embassy is very busy, and there is a que, doesn't depend on eligibility of immigrants, you just have to wait, or try to switch to another embassy

I have heard Brazil and Iran are one of the reasons for EB2 backlog and retrogression due to so many applications in recent years. So this is no surprise that there is delay in interview in Brazil

That’ not true! They are still scheduling a few interviews in Brazil.
