Hmmmm! Mine took a year. Yours will be way faster hopefully. In the meantime, guard your mental health cause there’s nothing you can do, it’s all up to them. I kept busy and was earning by transferring some of my skills in Consulting and working with individuals in an entrepreneurial capacity so they paid me directly. Also did a lot of self development work with free online materials in areas of my interest. It’s so hard without an EAD or even ssn . Hang in there and stay mentally busy or it can lead to depression. Also, try calling in and putting in an expedite request based on financial hardship. Hugssss!

Don’t lose hope, make an expedite request, stay calling them so that the officer can have a record of the urgency, I expedited and got approving a week, I know it’s hard but god helps those that helps themselves. Help yours by calling and replying quickly to whatever is asked of you provide the evidence bank statements etc. as long as you have a good reason to Expedite, Expedite.
