NIW PP
My lawyer suggested that they have seen a high correlation with getting an RFE with PP for I-140 submission, which will lead to even further delay the timeline. Is this true? should I talk to my lawyer and push for it?

My lawyer suggested the same thing and it did actually happened (RFE). He said it is a way to buy themselves time since they are so backed up. But they still answered within 30 days (not counting what took me to response RFE). So it didn't delay anything. From what I've seen on people who didn't do PP in some posts here, it looks like it's better if you do PP, as it has taken over a year in some cases. The RFE was for more finances from my sponsor, a signature on the Labor Certificate, and stupid stuff like headers on my letters of recommendation.

I am applying for PP today. I have seen some people who got their PP passed 45 business days and will get the refund from USCIS. My case has 1.3 years now (464 days). This whole wait is killing me.

Mu lawyer said the same thing. I will wait for a few more days to see how the new administration will handle things with USCIS. I'm not too desperate, yet.

the big uncertainly is whether the new admin is going to cancel H4 EAD, and my partner’s job really depends on my 140 approval. but 1.3 years is insane, and the process shouldn’t be that hard/random to apply for legal immigration smh. making us all desperate

@J G can you explain the meaning of PP, and what it stands for? Thank you in advance.

@Alex W, I strongly agreed with you. Trump's administration is likely to come with several frustrations, distortions and misery. However, what does H4 EAD mean. I am New here. Thank you

@Maxwell Kester PP stands for Premium Processing. It’s a faser way to get a response, ideally within 45 business days and it costs $2805.
