I filed on Oct 15, 2021. my interview was on May 26, got the I 485 approval on June 23 and card is being processed today. San Antonio field office, also married with a US citizen

@domino yes omg. I’m hoping I get an interview soon. most people from Newark seem to get an interview date in 8-9 months. the whole process here is almost a year 🫠

JJ : I filed I-130 19 months ago and never been approved. file i-485 last feb 2022 and my interview is today LOL

@J J, yes, married to a USC and no unfortunately, the officer didn’t approve us on spot. our interview could’ve went a whole lot better.

JJ : approved on spot for I-130. I-485 will be administrative closed until my removal proceeding terminated ( I need that I-130 approval date ) the IO took all my extra evidences 500 pages LOLOLOL the IO told me I wish I can approved ur I-485 if u are not in removal proceeding

terminate the removal proceeding first and then motion to open I-485

any updates ?

I have been submitted i130 on 29/09/2019 and get interview in February 7th 2022 and approved on 8th February 2022. Then I submitted I-485 in 02/08/2022 and still in reviewing the case. Based on f2a but later submitted my partners citizenship copy to upgrade from f2a to ir1 on April but they receive on may 2022. Field office Newark nj. No status update yet. Anyone else as my situation? Or receive any update based on similar situation? Please inform me. Thank you

@jj @sh we got approval for the travel document just yesterday, 10/10…we got the work permit already way back in feb but the AOS and green card are still both pending
