NEW EAD APPLICATION
Has anyone ever submitted a new application for Work Authorization after waiting forever and seem like they are doing nothing on your case? I have been waiting since April 25,2022. Did Biometrics June 3rd, 2022. Submitted numerous expedite requests. Filed VAWA in November of 2022 and contacted congressman on April 8th, 2023 for help also with an expedite and they responded a month later on May 10 that they will be sending my case for expedited review, he submitted a follow up on June 10 and they responded July 9th saying that it is being reviewed by an adjudications officer but due to workload factors not relating to my case the final adjudication may be delayed, on August 10 they sent the exact same email to the congressman again. I can’t understand all this workload factors BS but people getting approved in 30 days, 60 days and even at just 13 days from filing this year.

Your Case is VAWA? i have seen those applications take lot longer don’t know why

mine is cancelation of removal and it varies i got it with in a month once last year it took 7 months and this year i just filed so im at month 1

oh man I'm so sorry you going thru this ..Im Novembe 2022 too got my EAD 1st week of August ...Sent expedite myself was ignore 4 months later I asked Senator of michigan she sent and got it in 2weeks ...I think u should Ask Top Tier people in yr state get more people to advocate for you .

@think positive , wooow you probably would have to call and speak to someone. @Elsa Carvajal yes but I had submitted a marriage based EAD prior to filing for VAWA. @Teej Boo , I have tried so many things. Congressman, Ombudsman…I am thinking of contacting the Senator today.

@N RL can you please send me info on how you contacted the congressman? Submit my Vawa since July 2021 nothing yet not even an rfe only PFs. I had to renew my EAD too.
