Joe DNov 4, 2021
@josh yes

👏👏👏🎉 Congrats

Thanks!

my husband has his interview tomorrow at West palm beach also I hope they do the ceremony same day too
Joe DNov 4, 2021
@Jenn There's no ceremony!
If approved on the spot ,he will do the Oath of Allegiance right there in the Interviewing Officer's room and then go to another room just to get the Certificate of Naturalization
Jenn PNov 4, 2021
oh wow that's nice some office will let you go and say they will send you a notice for the ceremony so that thought this office was like one of them. thanks for the info
Jenn PNov 7, 2021
@joe D unfortunately mu husband pass the test they was going to do the oat the same day like you said but they didn't instead they give him a rfe we already responded to the request the same day via online account but because it was Friday after we don't know if he'll approve soon. will be waiting and praying
Josh bigoshNov 7, 2021
@jenn so sorry. Is your husband under marriage base? I've seen many people getting RFE when they have marriage base application. Hope don't take longer
Joe DNov 7, 2021
@That sucks ! what was the RFE for? Hopefully he will get Citizenship soon!
Jenn PNov 7, 2021
the rfe was for a ticket he had since 2020 he hasn't paid for because he was supposed to go to court because of covid everything was close and they never sent him a court date and his license never suspended or anything so he thought it was nothing but the office asked him to pay for the ticket in full and send the receipt and also he didn't go with his passport so they ask for copies of all pages of the foreign passport plus our marriage certificate because when he applied for citizenship he applied as single so they asked for the certificate but we replied the same day cuz everything was there except the ticket receipt which we called and paid over the phone and get the receipt on the spot
Joe DNov 7, 2021
Sounds like he will be getting his Oath soon
