national benefit center for main processing, but Houston for interview. since interview office is what matters the most in timelines
Divine SFeb 11, 2022
hi @ ayo ay did you have your interview in Dallas? did you do any expendite? thank you so much
ayo ayFeb 11, 2022
@Divine Yes, and I didn't expedite
E noFeb 11, 2022
I don't think expediting 485 or 130 is really a feasible option.
Divine SFeb 11, 2022
I tried to chat with emma yesterday to expendite mine she said that she will try to have a tier 2 call me

congratulations E no . Can you list the joint documents you presented to the officer pls ? I have my interview coming up in the next couple of weeks in Houston . I’m nervous .

officer was nice. he didn't ask for anything specifically except wedding license, , but U gave him an updated lease, our joint tax return from 2020, updated car insurance. we did submit a ton of things in during the application though.
old visas and current i94 is what he said he specifically needed but I already submitted those.
we were thrown off by many questions about where we lived /worked on certain dates for the past years. probably good to read through your application because it's in there.
as for our relationship he asked to give each others parents names, when and how and when we met. but maybe that because I got in a discussion with my husband on which date he quit his job 5 years ago which would have made it clear we were together for a while.
he asked the required questions and that was it.
it seemed mostly like a chaotic (he just saw our application for the first time as we walked in) but friendly conversation. when I thought the interview was going to start he said "times up, you'll get a decision in the mail" took a little over a month.

oh drivers licenses he asked for too.
you'll be fine, but I understand you're always going to be nervous.
my husband was so nervous he forgot our anniversary (something he definitely knows and makes a big deal out of) but the officer laughed that off. they understand people are nervous.
