Need help on alternative ways to get the info on my RFE I-485
I’m in a situation where my spouse wants to leave me because she wants to control my life and I must do what she says or her family tells me to do. I just got approval for my I-130 and now USCIS sent me an RFE for my I-485 but I don’t know what they are asking for and I tried reaching out to my spouse to see if she can send it to me but she’s not responding. I guess she wants to hold me hostage at this point and I can’t wait to get my GC. the main issue is that I need to know what they are asking for and where to send it to which will be stated in the letter. please guys I need ideas on how to go about it since she’s not responding to my calls or text to get the mail from her. thanks 🙏🏾. looking forward to your replies.

they is no way you can get it,without getting the letter.It comes to the mail. You need to meet your wife to get the letter.

go on your online account all your letters from uscis will be in documents under your I-485.

check under your documents tab on your online account. also did you send your medical with your initial application if not then the RFE will be your medical, you can also call uscis to talk to a live agent and they might be able to help you. Also if your spouse is holding you hostage just lawyer up and file for vawa if you have enough evidence against her. you’d get your PR without your spouse or staying in a toxic marriage

@Adekunle Muraina This is most likely RFE for medical. Call and have them email you the RFE. Do you have a lawyer representing you on this case?

call them and ask them to email you the rfe don’t mention anything about your wife itd most likely about medical if u Didt submit it, most like they gonna approve without interview

also another question: does it matter about the location of where I want to do the medicals. because I filed it in NC but I’m in Miami. will this raise any suspicion at all?. thanks again guys for your ideas.

@Adekunle Muraina Don’t try to play smart with your immigration process. Go and get a lawyer. Why are you in Miami when your wife is in NC? Why are you doing medical 100s of miles away from where you supposedly live? Give this the seriousness it deserves because you are barely here.

well my job is in Miami and my wife lives in NC. so doesn’t make sense to go to there without a job or nothing to do.

@Adekunle Muraina You need to work with a very good lawyer because you are handing them all the reason to mess with you. Don’t forget that you are Nigerian and it’s clear how USCIS sees Nigerian cases
