you have waited 3 years and you almost there. why don’t you wait few more months to get approve and take gc ? I would suggest please wait lil more.

February 2021 here as well and still waiting… stay engaged for the next one or two years, don’t get remarried yet. we are almost at three years, you don’t want to wait another three years in my opinion.

it’s gonna take three years for you to get the 10 year green card and they might make it way tougher for you as you did have a Vawa case filed with them previously. they will doubt the legitimacy of the new marriage in my opinion.

I don’t know it’s obviously up to you if you wanna wait one more year or three plus years for refiling for a standard marriage petition.

Question:.. my i130 was denied then I filled i360 do I need to withdraw the i130 that was denied or it is automatically closed?

my AP is approved for my new i360 so I’m afraid if my denied i360 is still open and can affect me at the point of re-entry @T EndlessWait

@H O don’t worry. just ensure you travel with your combo card AND APPROVAL NOTICE of I131. enjoy your travels!

@mk t Don’t rush into another marriage please, it always looks good from the beginning. wait a little more and have your green card before any wedding. You will definitely be flagged by USCIS and everything will seems to them you are just desperate for GC. there will be issues !

wait until after your vawa is approved to be remarried. The immigration website said that remarriage after 1-360 will not affect you.

@T EndlessWait Happy Holidays, I remember that we had almost the same timeline for vawa and kept receiving prima- facies, has anything changed in your situation? I am still on an another prima-face and applied for a Ead renewal in September, I have only gotten the Ead Renewal receipts and that it. How long do we still have to wait at this point .

I changed my address back in September 2023 since then they stopped sending me new prima facies. my 5th prima Facie expired end of October 2023. Again they send me no renewal of that which is super strange as they used to send me a renewal automatically before expiration. my combo card is still valid til October 2024. last year they took 4 months to renew my ead card. @Bekind 2eachother

@T EndlessWait it good your combo card is still valid, did you update your address on USCIS website or check your old address to see if you got anything. This vawa process is really long and May God help us all. Do you have any idea which year for vawa USCIS is processing, because it seems people from 2020/2021 are still waiting and we kind of fall into that category. Also, would you be interested in keeping in touch, maybe we should share emails.
