@emily c you are both outside the us? can I ask what evidence you submitted? I am in a similar situation and found it hard to submit evidence that didn’t need translation

Gelo, my case was actively reviewing right after bio in September then I received a RFE 2 weeks later. That's great to hear some are getting approved after filing in July

you can check thru EMMA in uscis website just type "live agent" until they connect you to a representative
