NBC, Lee's summit, MO do not process I-485. It only processes other applications like travel, EAD etc. NBC will review your I-485, verify that all documents are attached with the application and prepare your I-485 for a field office (nearest USCIS office from your location). If any document is missing, you will get an RFE. NBC also schedules appointment at your nearest field office for an interview, if required. Based on your priority date and visa availability, NBC review your I-485. You should check the https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ for the field office location (select the nearest city that has USCIS office from your location), as most likely your application will be sent to a field office who will process your application.
