NBC approval!
Thank you to everyone on this app and for your super helpful experiences along the way! This is i485 EB2 (not EB1). Seems as though pace is luckily picking up. Colleague of mine applied 2 months before us and was approved around December. FO Kansas City. interview waived. We got a retrogression letter 2 weeks ago (ROW) which was odd and they transferred back to NBC. Seems as though NBC approved it as soon as it arrived to them. (my lawyer sent a letter)
best of luck to all!!!

hi, I have a question related travel document plz help me if you can
actually I received my travel document last month and next month I’m going to Germany to see my family I just need to know that is this travel document ready to travel or I need to register it somewhere? plz give me reply
Sassy AFeb 18, 2022
@Mamoona: When I left with my AP I didn’t have to do any registration. When I came back in they just checked the validity of my combo card, they asked me a couple of questions about my status and trip then they let me in. That was all for me.

combo card is different I have travel document which also called reentry permit
Sassy AFeb 18, 2022
@Mamoona: I’ve had paper travel documents before, but I didn’t get to travel with them. But I used my combo card AS my travel document to re-enter the US. Both types of my travel documents (paper and card) were EB based. I’m not sure how different they are from the travel document you’re referring to.

@mamoona I’m not familiar with this since we never received the AP or any other travel document. You’re best bet is to talk to Emma on uscis website or call them directly to verify, or ask your attorney. it’s better to be safe in this type of situation if you are not exactly sure.

congrats. can you share initials of receipt no? i am also awaiting for eb1 485.
-A- ELFeb 18, 2022
@asad sure! it’s MSC229003. Also this was EB2, not EB1 for some reason it wasn’t letting me change it to EB2 after I mistakenly entered EB1 at the start. best of luck!

congrats! can you tell me if you are from the KC area or did they just transfer your application to KC. if from the KC area did you expedite your case? I am a Sep 21 filer and got done with BM on 1/22/22, so wondering how your BM happened so soon.
-A- ELFeb 20, 2022
@pankaj thanks! I’m not from the KC area, we live in the southwest/non major city, guess that’s prob why it went thru quite fast, although the process seems pretty random.. they do also seem to be priorizing employment cases. I did not expedite at any point
