Natasha and Joseph I 130
nothing else was needed from the beginning. I requested it expedited twice and was denied. when I called USCIS and spoke with someone I asked to speak with a supervisor. through doing that, we became approved.

@ Natasha what was the reason for the expedite?
sani001 DoniJul 14, 2022
did you call your field office? if so what did you speak with the supervisor about
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@sani001 Doni I spoke with the rep and explained the hardship and the effect of the distance has on my marriage. We recently had a baby too and my husband not being here helping me caused postpartum. nothing was needed in our case from the beginning. i was sincere honest and Vulnerable. i requested that my call is escalated to a supervisor. and before the supervisor called me back we were approved. after which we received an email that we were approved.
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@cyclops now. they denied both request. but I requested it based on my high risk pregnancy, hardship that it caused because I was constantly traveling out of the country to my husband. being in another country is hard being away from your spouse.
Andy GodJul 14, 2022
@Natasha, was it your I-130 that was approved or your expedite request?
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
I 130 they denied both request for expediting. that is when I called and said info pass spoke with the rep requested to speak with a supervisor and told them my story as transparent as possible
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@sani001 Doni I did call my field office
Farina RegussonJul 14, 2022

Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@o k it says 3-4 months but I have been emailing the embassy abroad where my husband is. to request expedite of his vis process. someone there told me what to do.
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@Eden B he is in Nigeria
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@Tracey M thank you
Any Day NowJul 14, 2022
good to know, I am also in Nigeria. please what info did they give you to expedite? because I hear the embassy in Lagos takes about 15 months to get an interview!!! and have you gotten your NVC welcome letter?
Natasha BarnesJul 14, 2022
@Eden I don’t know about 15 months because I know people that was sent in April and already got their interview days. not everyone story is your story. I was told to be transparent about our condition. i am postpartum (we recently had a baby) I am here alone ( I don’t have family) the hardship because of traveling back and forth to keep our marriage steady ( it is not easy being apart for so long (( we will be 3 hrs married Aug) etc. but again everyone story is not your story. so don’t place yourself into anyone else’s issue. it may not take 15 months for you. and the process is different now today from 15 months ago remember that.

@Natasha, they usually don't put/write the service centers' phone numbers anywhere. It's still the general uscis 1-800 number that's available.
