n400 question
Hey guys, I have my n400 interview next week and I need some advice as I think I made a mistake. on part 15B, it asks: Have you EVER been arrested, cited, detained or confined by any law enforcement officer, military official. I answered no. I just remembered I had a traffic incident that was dismissed. It did not involve alcohol, drugs or injuries. What should I do about this? I didn’t even think it was relevant at the time, but I also don’t want it to look like I lied about it. Should I disclose it during the interview and bring evidence of the dismissal? Thanks!

@Luis A The other purpose of an interview is to also give you the opportunity to correct possible mistakes. Mention this as soon as your information starts and provide documentation to show it was taken care of. Nothing to worry about

@kinda kind person kindness Call the county where it happened and request for a written disposition. Every dismissed case has a disposition. Give them your name and all the other relevant details.

I did the same thing but I was advised by a lawyer to obtain my license records from my local DMV and take it with me and tell them when the interview starts or when they ask about it
