Hello Everyone.. I am curious over 1 question if anybody know the ans plz reply..so after applying for n400 naturalization while process how long can the person stay outside of US is it like only have 6 months till the citizenship no matter how long it takes or is it like 6 months per year i can stay out of US..?

you have to be physically living in the US for at least 30 months out of 5 years so you can qualify to apply for Citizenship

yes.. I applied after 5 year of living in US my case is in the process. i just concern about that i have 6 months after applied to stay out of states till i get my citizenship no matter how long the process takes more than an year or so? or tge 6 months get renew every year?

if you didnt travel outside of the Us at all for the last 5 years, then you can be out of the country for 6 months. but not more than 6 months. howver, since you already applied for citizenship, there are 3 appointments involved yo complete the process, biometrics, interview and oath. so you have to make sure you are here in thr US on every appointment
