N-400 Marriage Based Citizenship Interview
I have a question, so me and my husband applied for citizenship through marriage. He received his interview letter. I wanted to make sure whether I have to attend the interview with him or not. Is it optional or something? I mean I am planning on attending on anyways but I just wanted a confirmation since the interview letter is not saying anything regarding that subject.

yeah u have to go with hime but they not gona call u it’s better if u go with hime n bring ur all joints docs together n gud luck

@Fathima Reeza you don’t have to , it’s optional. They will ask him details about you to confirm it matches the details provided but other than that the interview is mainly for him. Good Luck !

You don’t have to.
She can come with you though if she wants to take pictures and stuff for you oath ceremony if all goes well and they can accommodate the ceremony the same day.

hey guys, wanted to share how my spouse’s interview went. The officer actually called me in as well, and he was very nice. We got the citizenship approved right away with the Oath Ceremony sheduled as well! Alhamdulillah! All thanks Allah!
