that’s what typically happens.. it goes into active review within a few days but will still take about 10-12 months to get approved

I had a similar experience. I applied on October 29, 2023 and I was notified on December 12 that my case is actively being reviewed. My 2 month count down started again at that time and my progress is now at 2 weeks. I don’t know what to expect but either way it’s kinda cool to have some sort of information. I have much respect for everyone who’s been waiting patiently and for those sharing their journey. We’re all in this together. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@Mr MCC does it take time cuz you’re Nigerian? my husband filled for since March 2023 nd still nothing. we submitted March 3 nd case went to actively reviewing March 8

@Olayinka Smith i am a Nigerian and most Nigerians here are having delays. but hopefully ur case will not be same. sorry expect your approval next month February not September(mistake)

@Olayinka Smith yes dear it takes 11-12months if you are lucky sometimes it takes more than 18months too. mine is heading to 13months with no approval yet
