my son got rejected from his F1 and his B1 visa got cancelled
Me and my daughter are currently in the US waiting for our I-485 (my combo cards are approved and hers just submitted extra evidence). My son is planed to come here for high school and he went to the conselate yet he got rejected for F1 and they even cancelled his 10-yr B1 visa. What should we do now? Some people suggested to write a letter to our house representatives. Would that work?

you were directed wrongly. you made a terrible mistake. if you intented to adjust your son status the same way you did to your daughter and yourself, you should’ve all came as visitors and adjusted status with I-485. you’re son was denied f-1 and visitor visa revoked because he had family members (you and your daughter) with petition pending. so obviously, since either the f1 and b1 are not dual intent visas, the consul in the embassy clearly knows that your son intends to remain in the US, therefore by law he has to revoke all his visas. now you need to get your green card and then start his petition. this bad decision will separate you from your son for many years unfortunately
