@macrina If you go directly to the USCIS website and click on the I-485 form, you’ll see a memo saying that it’s not longer valid as of today.

from my understanding after reading about i944 form any person applying after March 9th 2021 does not have to include this form so I think everybody prior to this date still has to. if I would have received an rfie for it I would send it. when I applied initially there was a hold but I sent it anyway and that avoided me getting a rfie and slowing my process

They said “We immediately stopped applying the Public Charge Final Rule to all pending applications and petitions that would have been subject to the rule. “ and “If you received a Request for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) requesting information that is solely required by the Public Charge Final Rule, including but not limited to Form I-944, and your response is due on or after March 9, 2021, you do not need to provide the information solely required by the Public Charge Final Rule. “
