My husband has not received his employment authorization card after arriving in the US last month via I-730 and today we received a notification that his case has been received. Is this normal?

yes, took two months for mine to receive his. just be patient
we were inpatient and filed for another work permit as we never received any notice but that was denied since there was already a pending application

still. waiting and i have been 6 months in US through I730!!!
