my friends I-485 was denied on 11/28
si my friends I-485 was denied on 11/28 she still has not receive the denial letter and they told her to wait until 12/15 to contact USCIS but today her I-765 combo card was approved and she has the approval under documents for 5 years we are just so confused there’s not denial docs in her account anybody has experienced this ?

@rosa guzman we don’t know the letter has not arrived and uscis contact center won’t help until 12/15 they said

Sorry to hear , but you can appeal once you know the reason,how were you informed that it was denied if you haven’t received any letter and can’t see any document online? Did they email a denial or you just see over the app that it was denied?

it she doesn’t have a pending or approved I-485 she defiantly shouldn’t travel with the card. I think it’s also not good idea to work because as far as I know combo card arrives with a letter that says if you get a denial for your I-485 you have to take it to the nearest USCIS office. appeal is an option but I don’t know how that change the circumstances in terms of the card on hand. @francisco avelar
