@s k if the interview was scheduled randomly(without lawsuit) it can takes weeks to months. but hope for the best. usually what happens after the interview, the officer review your case and makes a decision; if for approval, he/she would have to write a recommendation letter for the supervisor/director. once that’s done, the use your biometrics to check the criminal records. then you get your decision. usually the status change to i765 that means your case is approved and they change your EAD category to asylee. if the decision is delayed for someone reason for long, you can do a federal mandamus lawsuit get a decision quickly.
