My Experience (I-485 Interview after I-360 Approval)
When I went for the interview, the officer was more focused on my previously denied I-485. Asking how is the sponsor I used related to me? Why I didn’t use my spouse’s parents as sponsor? Do I know if the person I used as sponsor had sponsor other people? If my previous attorney had my personal information? If I had been arrested? Asked about my parents name, where I was born, etc. There was no question on my current I-485. After all, he said he needed sometime to review my file and do a background check. And in the process, if he needs anymore doc, he’ll reach out to me. I frowned in disappointment and told him I’m honestly tired of waiting. He smiled and told me he understands, that he needs time to review my case and to do a background check. So he printed all the response I gave and asked me to read them over and sign before he submitted. I honestly do not know what to make out of it all. I just have my fingers crossed 🤞.

so can I ask - we might be a support sponsor for a relative and obv my husband sponsored me, will it affect her application?

@Love gee. if he makes enough money, he should be fine sponsoring your relative and petitioning for you. It only becomes a problem if his name pops up on USCIS database on multiple occasions, sponsoring multiple people yearly.

@kamol sa. I thought the same thing too, especially after they asked me to send in my Medicals. but to my surprise they called me in for an interview after 5months of waiting.
