my case was finally approved
My interview was in Atlanta. I thought my case would be a bit more difficult and I was about to hire my lawyer to go with me to the interview — I’m glad I didn’t. The interview was super easy. The officer only asked for our names and then went straight to the Yes and No questions from my I-485 form. It wasn’t complicated at all. She didn’t check any of our evidence. I wasn’t approved on the spot; they just gave me a paper saying they were going to continue working on my case. But the next day, my I-130 was approved, and the day after that, my I-485 was approved too. I’m currently waiting for my green card to arrive, but all I can say is: trust your process. Everything will come when it’s meant to. Best of luck to everyone!
