except the interview, we are kind of similar (pd aug 22). i contacted the online USCIS agent 10 days ago, he checekd everythig and said i am good!! i said i will be good when i am approved , finally he said, its normal. you have to wait. until when?? nobody knows. so i am waiting 3.5 months CRP with a jan 24 current visa bulletin

Im on the same boat with an August pd. my hope is that they are approving in PD order so we should be close. a friend of mine got approved last week with a June PD.

@Ati Ozk @?? n Those guys don’t follow any sequence. I guess it depends on the officer reviewing your file. They can choose to pick it up and look at or just look at any file that pops up for them.

I agree that it is hard to predict. But knowing there’s more people with similar PDs waiting makes me feel better. Also, knowing my friend got recently approved gives me hope and makes me think we shouldn’t be too far from it.

what i understand from the statistics is that if you are somehow CRP (due to green card number unavailabilty or whatever), they process the batch in full untill they finish (My batch is MSC239 028) everyone, and then they return back and revisit the CRP cases. this puts us in the bottom of the batch that we are evaluated. thus another case after your PD and not CPR will be approved before you. i wish i am wrong but loking at the numbers in the casetracker app. thats what i understand. people before and after my numbers which were not CRP in jan were all approved as a family (i can follow their case numbers) . i am a pessimist anyhow:)

@Engr sba it was a usual process.The officer just asked same questions which are in the i 485 form. she also asked for my tax documents from last two years and asked whether my priority date is current. There are some questions about job. she was friendly.

I brought all original and translated documents which I submitted i485. they did not ask for any of them.

@Mozi Ho Congrats in advance. I have a few questions for you. 1.) Are you adjusting from F1 status? 2.) Was your green card application under EB2-NIW? 3.) Were your last 2 years tax form 1040 or 1040NR, if adjusting from F1 status? 4.) Which field office did you had your interview? Thanks for your response.

@Tim Id I am on H1 visa and it is on eb2 category. I just gave them the pdf of my tax documents ( I got them from turbo tax software). the office was in DC.

@Mozi Ho Thanks for your response. Just for my guidance, have you spent more than 5 years in the USA on your H1 status before using turbo tax to file your taxes? Because I understand turbo tax is for 1040 form tax filing while sprintax is for 1040-NR Thanks.
