Motion to Reopen (I-290B) — Filed Sept 22, 2025 — Anyone else waiting this long?
Hey everyone, I filed a Motion to Reopen (Form I-290B) on September 22, 2025, after my I-485 was denied due to a missing Form I-864A. I corrected the mistake, included updated financials, and submitted everything properly this time. According to Lawfully, my case is 17th out of 39 (43%) in the current batch for the same receipt window, but it hasn’t moved in a few days. I know I-290B processing can vary a lot depending on whether it’s handled at the National Benefits Center or transferred to the AAO, but I’m wondering if anyone with a late-September filing has started seeing updates or decisions yet. If you’ve filed around the same time (mid to late September), how long did it take before your status changed to “Case Was Reopened” or “Decision Notice Mailed”? Appreciate any insight — trying to get a clearer sense of the current motion review pace.

Don’t depend on lawfully for the case rank statistics, it’s never right. It might take up to a year for a decision.
