@kj thanks I was little confused because I live in another state but my old case to be close is in NyC so I have to travel over there and yes my I-130 was approved in Potomac service center I filled out 2018 and got approved in 2020 due covid19 took 2 years

good luck bro , your lawyer can request to adjust your status infront of the judge exactly like you do it at the USCIS, but when you do it with the judge you get your greencard within 2 weeks of his approval. so you dont have to wait for uscis and their long processing time.
