what I have seen is when you get a quick interview they are sitting on those cases for a long time especially marriage base

@Lorena m this website https://hilites.today does a pretty good job in analyzing cases that are being approved and their respective numbers . when I check their analysis, the IOE cases are hovering around IOE09127xxxxxx . You do see some different numbers tho but it predicts that they are working towards IOE09130xxxxx side . Let’s hope it’s true and that’s what’s happening. keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for the best . key point tho, sometimes you see case numbers that are way outside the pattern but I presume some applicants do expedite their cases so. any number can budge in

I had my interview on March 08th, 2022. Their website still says " Interview was scheduled". My case stars with IOE09128xxxxx. I'm tired of waiting 😴

thanks @sal, I have holites but it is difficult to understand for me. do you think 09130 is yet to be worked on? i also had my interview scheduled relatively fast… after just 4 months of applying… had my interview in late march and still says “interview was scheduled”. our interview went well. reps say they havent seen any update, flag, nothing ever since. simply no one has touched our case

“Lorena m. I try to make sense in the analysis on that website. it is one of the most useful websites in analyzing USCIS cases in my opinion. I hardly see them approved any case with the 09130 range . I see them do 09127 getting to 09128, and then jumped to 09140 and sometimes 09150 or even 170 . I’m sure they will get to the 130s after the 128, 129s . Let’s keep hope alive and pray for the best I also know people in the 130 ranges who complains of not getting any updates since interview

@ Lorena m , Yes I’m on the same boat. my priority date is August 11 2021 and my interview in mid June. They say our case number IOE means our cases have been converted into the online application and this is a new system USCIS is trying out to make processing faster but obviously, it’s not going as planned. so IOE09130xxxxx in simple term; the 09 represents the code of the fiscal year they receive your file . 130 represents the computer work day they registered your case in their system (this does not include weekends and holidays) . and the last five digits show your application position for the year , so if your last five digits is 12000, it means you’re the 12000th applicant for that year . Moreover , your clock might stop ticking, or reverse, or reset, based on an activity on your case like (RFE, Case must be reviewed, Pending, security/ Background checks etc etc ….,, ) . Let’s just hope our clock ticks fast so we get adjudication sooner, it’s frustrating !

sometimes too, they just sit on the case for no reason. they’re just playing chess ♟ with our files Lol

No I haven’t. But it’s a good option that can help speed up the process

My spouse who’s a US citizen will be requesting case inquiry using congressman this week for my case. hoping something positive comes out of it

My case number starts with IOE0912 but i haven't recived a descision yet its been 5 months wait time so far

Guys, I placed lots of calls and seem to have gotten a positive response from it. First of all, my 3rd call to uscis was on September 20th 2022 and requested to speak to a tier 2 officer. They placed me on the call back list and last week Thursday, I received a response saying my case is still in the normal processing time. On October 5th, I wrote a message to them via my online account and that is what had positive and prompt response. Just this past Saturday, October 22, someone viewed my message and responded that they are forwarding my inquiry to the office processing my case. Just this morning, the local office replied again saying my case is still pending and they anticipate that I should receive either a decision or RFE within another 90 days from today. I will say if you have any inquiries, contact them through your online account because that helps a lot.

Also, I filed my case in February 1, 2022 as my PD. By then we had not filed for taxes and we submitted only 2020 taxes but at the interview in June, the officer didn’t ask and I also didn’t bring it up. I have a feeling they will ask for updated taxes through RFE. do you guys think I should go ahead and send updated taxes before they even ask for it or wait to get RFE (which I think will prolong the case again)?

@Lorena, in your online account, go to inbox and you’ll see “New Message” The message was just asking about the status of my case because it’s been more than 120 days after interview

I did the online message too, they replied with the 90 days message.

They replied the next day. Was really surprised because i had another message on 8/16 that they ignored.

I normally send messages through my USCIS account, and they reply back within a week or 10 days.

@Waiting More, have they ever solve your problem. They completed my service request 12 days after thier online reply and the officer review under next steps disappeared. I don’t what it means, if its a good thing or bad

OO, I sent 4 service requests already since June, one service request every month, and they always send me the same answer: " if you don't hear from us within 120 days, call us back". so disappointed. But at the same time I know this is gonna take more than a year after the interview, coz there's a huge backlog. This is what a believe is going on: They're going to start granting 10 years green cards instead of 2 years, that's why they are holding some applications until those applicants reach the 2 years wedding anniversary. OO, what's your situation? I'll try to analyze your case.

@max, nothing for me yet. the tier 2 officer emailed with the automated email saying “Your case is still within processing time “. We planned to now contact our local congressman to intervene for us but my wife and I haven’t done that yet. Maybe beginning next year

@Yanner, My case has been almost 6 months now. it’s past 5 months. What did you do while waiting? Did you use congressman, lawyer, or anything?

@nick, no i didn’t reach out to anyone other than asking an agent on Emma a first times which they told me to just wait. and that’s what I did. I stopped reaching out and somewhat took my mind off and it I got the approval when I least expected it. so just hold on because yours is coming too. 🤞🏾

guys! just wanted to share that 253 days after my interview (8 months and 9 days) - I have finally being approved! dont lose hope. your time will come. but use your resources, i had to place 2 congressional inquiries and the second one did the trick

@Mohamed Toto no updates yet. I’ve been waiting patiently. they said I can only ask questions after September 3rd this year. I’m relaxed because we will be 2 years married in July and will qualify for the 10year GC if they decide to mind me after July.
