@K B I have a friend that had her interview last summer in MTL (I’m still waiting for my IL for MTL) she basically said they just wanted to see originals of everything and verify financials but it was a super smooth process. They will tell you right there if you are approved and keep your passport. I want to say she had hers back within a week. Also can’t wait to be done with this whole thing! What day is your interview?

@Kristen B Interview is on Monday , April 22nd !!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀Thank you so much for this … I suspect it’s pretty quick as at this point, the only thing we didn’t submit is our DNA 😅😂😂😂. I know they say not to book your move until all approved, by my U-Haul is booked for May 30th so let’s hope it’s smooth or I’ll be couch surfing for a while if delayed 🤪

@Kristen B and @S T Montreal was super easy. just make sure you have your docs in order . everything uploaded and in original . Interview questions were basic and brief, mainly confirming where we will live, what my husband does for work and so on. consular officer was incredibly kind and smiling a lot. longest part was waiting outside in the cold until it was time to go in….
