Missed biometric appointment
Hello, I had an appointment for my biometrics who was scheduled for the 22nd of October. I received a email the 24th of September telling me that I should receive the appointment information soon if not I should go on the link below and if I moved I should update my mailing address. So I assumed that I was receiving the appointment information by mail. Arrived the 23nd and still nothing so I try to call, to email them and click on the link, I tried everything it didn't worked, so I went in my documents and finally found the document with the details of the appointment saying that it was October, 22nd. So I missed it from 2 days, I tried to call, they said to wait 60 days to have an appointment rescheduled but on the document it says that the case could be denied if I don't reschedule before the date of the appointment. I am very lost. can someone try to give me infos please ? Thank you

walk in with your missed letter of appointment. I missed my appointment by two weeks and just walked in, they let me do it. (I should mention this was pre-Covid), but I’ll still try walking in if I were you.

yes, I gave them my appointment letter, signed in and did it on the spot.

I just check and they say that we can't show up at another date than our appointment.

yes those are the rules but people do it any ways & they allow it to happen depending on whether the guard is mean or not. just give it a shot

yes some people i’ve seen do it recently. it all just depends, i’d give it a try & if it doesn’t work then please call & try to get it rescheduled asap

Well I'll try then thank you. I've been calling 5 times already and they said that my appointment we be rescheduled automatically in the next 60 days and this is an automatically voice not an actual officer

Just to walk in, if they don’t allow you then worry about infopass. there is no harm in trying.

I would have walked in straight away. I walked in for my appointment 19 days early so I don’t see why you can’t walk in a few days late. Why did you wait so long to ask?

I wish I new I could walk in early, I rescheduled and waited for a month because they had scheduled my biometric to be my old address

I missed my biometrics by 3 months. walked in the lady was nice enough to request another date for me. Told her uscis tripped on my address.

hello, so little update, I tried to walk in 2 times, called, emailed and they all told to wait that I would get another appointment; result : case denied BUT I was arriving at the end of the stay I asked for so I requested a new one, and this one is still pending with a new biometric appointment. So what should I do ? am I in a situation where I am illegal, should I say there is a mistake ?
