Medical RFE
I’ve heard that USCIS doesn’t always issue an RFE for expired medicals if the rest of application is complete.is that true ?

my PD is July 2022, got current in January visa bulletin. I haven’t received medical RFE as of now. case @CRP@NBC. Is it a negative indicator; in other words potential delay?

@pr g Case in CRP as well. No medical RFE yet. Most of the folks from 2022 PD are waiting for it. Only few received. Some received in 2024/2025 when date was not even current.

Thanks for starting this thread. let’s keep each other updated as soon as we hear from USCIS. My medical is expired as well and date has become current in Jan-2026. I have the same question if I would get the medical RFE or not. So far no updates from USCIS

@SK SK you are well ahead in the queue for the batch from 15-March-22 to 1-Feb-2023. Please let us know when you get approved without medical RFE or otherwise.

@GC Check @pr g @Sandy N uscis don't approve with expired medicals. either RFE or interview is the next step. sending medicals proactively is not suggested by uscis, better wait for RFE.

@spv c presently we are seeing approvals till mid mar 2022 so for Nov 2022 it will take Dec 2025 to get it approved as we have nearly 8-10k cases ahead of me

@GC Check As I interpret, that’s because date became current from Dec for PDs up to March. So rest of 2022 will start getting approvals soon. Irrespective of the month.
