medical RFE
hi everyone. I’m just curious if anyone can give me an idea as to the cost of the USCIS medical. randomly yesterday I received a letter in the mail RFE for medical however there’s been no update to my case about it. I was also under the impression you could submit it at your interview but an appointment hasn’t been scheduled.

I did mine and it cost me $370 and that’s without the vaccines I had to take.

the cost varies. get a list of civil surgeons near you and ask for prices. I did mine for $450. My friend in same city paid $580.
To save a lot of money: if you need to get vaccines, get them at a local pharmacy (especially if you have insurance).

my cost was around 500$, because I made a vaccine test. and please follow the mail to do anything that USCIS want you do as soon as possible.

oh yes I forgot to mention: do whatever USCIS tells you to do. If they send RFE for medical, mail it to them asap. They might waive your interview (or not).
Someone was denied last year because he waited for interview to take the medical they had requested. RFE deadline passed and they just denied his case.
Follow USCIS instructions, not what you've heard.

It is very common nowadays that when there is an RFE for medical, the interview is waived. Act quickly!

I paid $180 for a medical exam here MD, and the additional vaccines, I got at Walgreens w/insurance. I would recommend you call around some offices. Good luck!!

$425 i paid. I also paid an extra $80 at CVS to get MMR booster since my blood titer test was showing the measle immunity wearing off, even tho mumps and rubella were multiple times above and good

Good luck. RFE for medical is a great chance that they dont want you for interview, hence want to review your medicals to decide on your case.
i got mine done for 350$.
