medical exam advice (Houston)
anyone has any referrals on doctors in Houston? also what’s the normal cost for a medical test? I have no Inssurance so would be paid out of pocket

check the uscis website and call around to get the best price when I did mine that's what I did I got mine done in Sugarland...the only thing insurance would cover are the vaccines .

M R ~ I'm also uninsured. Shop around, as some of these Dr's will rip you off. I did mine back in 2018 & the highest quote I got was $800 & the lowest was $300. I kept my cost low, by getting tested at a free clinic (std testing etc). The only thing I paid for was the Varicella, because I was out of my system (vaccinated as a child), I had to get it again. My mother still had my vaccinations card as proof of what I'd already received, so I didn't need the other required vaccines again. Be mindful that the varicella is a 2 pt dose & you do have to pay twice. I got mine at Walmart & I 'thinking it was $114. hth

I did mine at Springwoods Medical Center on Guessner and Hammerly Rd. it was about $500 out of pocket. The Dr there is a sweet lady she’ll help you out.
