If you legally entered the United States, married a U.S. citizen, when visa expired,and then remained in the U.S. for 14 months illegally before submitting your I-485 form 1.5 years after the marriage, and you plan not to leave the U.S. before it is approved, is this permissible? I think there’s a 6 month of illegal presence that may prevent you from getting your AP. but look into that. overstays are forgiven with USCs

@Anna Zhang over stay is forgiven as long as you're married to. US Citizen but hope you didn't violate the 90day rule

I did basically the same thing, just 8 months instead of 14 and my Greencard got approved last week! you should be fine, especially since you married a citizen.

@Last Hope by USCIS standards violation of the 90days rule is a misrepresentation of the purpose of the visa....
You'll need a competent attorney and strong proofs to overcome it

@Last Hope I’ve seen plenty of people not worry about the 90 day rule and they get approved fast as well. 🤷🏻♀️
