Marriage/Domestic partner relationship
I know we can’t get married, but can we get into a “domestic partner” form of relationship notarized with your partner? I work in the airline industry and this would make everything so much better to travel.

Sorry if I was not clear. I’m talking about establishing stable union signed by a notary.

@hello world that’s a good question. strictly civil union is not a marriage. if you apply for vawa and you’re in civil union then USCIS deny application because you were not married. so by analogy I would say it’s no problem but this is what I think only, not the law or any advice
