long a challenging journey!
"Replacing my green card was a long and arduous journey that spanned over 2.5 years. It began with preparing and submitting Form I-90 in May 2022, which required gathering various documents and paying a significant application fee.
"Next, I had to attend a biometrics appointment, where my fingerprints and photo were taken. This was followed by a thorough background check, which added more time to the already lengthy process.
"Throughout the journey, I had to wait for what felt like an eternity for my application to be processed. The estimated processing time was 6-10 months, but it took significantly longer.
"Finally, after 2.5 years of waiting, I received my new green card. It was a huge relief, but also a reminder of the lengthy and sometimes frustrating process I had endured.
"Overall, replacing my green card was a long and challenging journey. However, I'm grateful that it's now complete, and I can move forward with my life."
