i have recieved an online notification from usps that I am expecting a letter from USCIS today.
its been 3 months since I filed my i-140 form, so it could be a correspondence related to that, the problem is that the online status of the case hasn’t changed. (its still in recieved status).
any idea what letter it could be ? if an RFE , why isnt the online status not updating?

that might be scam. USPS don’t communicate like that. Please be aware and proceed

quite possible because its very unusual.
is it possible that the notice was sent out before the online status got updated ?

awaiting the USPS delivery driver to arrive this afternoon.
but I am curious what could it be as this looks so odd.

@mhs sh it might be an RFE or approval. mostly likely RFE. my friend got one recently without any status update.

its an RFE.
and infact a very generic one. seems like the officer didnt even bother to look at the evidences..

as a person who got RFE two times, highly recommend consult with a lawyer, maybe it seems so trivial and officer didnt even take a look at evidences, but in fact, there should be something missing and we cant see it with our eyes, we need lawyer’s eyes
