@T N We never know. Anything can happen. What I see all the time is people getting approved while others with earlier PD still waiting. It’s an unfair game. For now I’m playing on the loser side, unfortunately.

@Bruno Oliveira my friend PD September 2021 got approved in 2022, what is an unfair game.
Bruno OliveiraApr 24, 2024
@T N That’s exactly what happened to me about 10 times. I’m glad for them, but I feel sorry for myself. Let’s not lose hope. One day it’s gonna happen and when this day comes I’m gonna buy a bunch of fireworks and set them all on fire my friend. I can’t wait.

yes. 26k waiting but 19k is in 2022 and 2023. so, 7k remains but many people had given up and has some country cap. if USCIS wants , 2021 batch should get GC in 2025
T
T NApr 24, 2024
@LEE Xpress but really we don’t know what’s gonna happen, it’s likely that the wait is still long and 19k is issued for backlogs cases
tribal chiefApr 24, 2024
@LEE Xpress idk think so they are following country cap look at the amount of approvals for vietnam last year around 2000 if uscis wants they can clear 2021 quick but idk why they are holding back

@tribal chief country cap only applies on root level total eb+family. so only country having cap are mexico india china phillippines The fiscal year 2024 limit for family-sponsored preference immigrants determined in accordance with Section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) is 226,000. The worldwide level for annual employment-based preference immigrants is at least 140,000. Section 202 prescribes that the per-country limit for preference immigrants is set at 7% of the total annual family-sponsored and employment-based preference limits, i.e., 25,620. The dependent area limit is set at 2%, or 7,320.
LEE XpressApr 24, 2024
@tribal chief yes that is my point. if USCIS wants, they can easily clear 2021. but they are intentionally delaying it to make eb-3 unpopular. so, we actually don’t know when we will get green card . it is USCIS decision. the number of applications is not a problem for 2021 people.

2022 + 2023 total GC approved is 8 + 9 = 17 still not pass 2020 which means they spend the majority of them for consular processing who has many family members
