LA County Field Office Transfer (non local)
as per Emma, my case is in transit to LA FIeld Office. any experience with this FO?
i had biometric on 10th March for i485 EB1-C

yes- we just had our case approved, they reached out by email ahead of us receiving the RFE for medical. once there ours moved very fast. best of luck!

I am also EB1C ROW.
I-140 & 485 send concurrently to TSC.
PD Feb 6th 2023.
I-140 approved Mar 6th 2023.
Biometrics Mar 7th 2023.
Transferred to NBC Mar 10th 2023.
Transferred to LA County FO (not local) Apr 10th 2023.
Now [im]patiently waiting and refreshing app 20 times a day… 🤦♂️

thank you! ours got to the field office sometime in mid Feb or maybe later - couldn’t get a clear answer from Emma on that. we got a request for evidence ( medical) on March 23, they confirmed they received our RFE on April 17 and we had our approval on April 25. best of luck!! I know it’s hard waiting.

may be they couriered or digitally transferred and waiting for FO’s acceptance. that’s how I interpreted it :)

Our moved to NBC on March 1st ( per transfer notice in the mail) , and as per Emma live chat case at LA FO since Mid March ( 2-3 diff agents confirmed this) .. It is very frustrating as we see cases filed in 2023 getting approved already. Mine is Eb1-C, and the date is current. Any idea how long does this Field office take to adjudicate ( our medicals were sent along with the 485 in Aug 2022)?

@N I we used USPS - it was going to LA FO and it’s a PO Box so FedEx wouldn’t take it.

I'm waiting on my EB1C case at LA FO as well. I submitted my medicals 20 days before and Case was updated with correspondence received status 16 days back. No updates since then. How long is it taking these days to get approval ?
