LA Field office
Hello everyone,
Does anyone have an experience with Los Angeles Field office and how is their processing time? I am based in New York but I was told by live agent through Emma that my case has been transferred to Los Angeles Field office. Does anyone know what does it mean?

hi, same situation here. NY resident and AOS was transferred to LA FO today. from what I’ve seen we may hear back within 2 months with approval, RFE or interview request

my case is at LA office since Jun, been over 10 weeks since transfer with no movement. overall it has been 8 months since i submitted my application

my case was over there. On Aug 25, I got Accptence. Note: perhaps you would not have interview.

@M A good for you. is that a local field for you? if so you may be getting approval or interview soon! did you get any FTA0 or FTA1 since it moved to LA? My case is still in the same situation, no updates.

@Joseph Climber was on July 7 2025. i had the LA one on August 26 but it disappeared on API and I can only see the new one
