k1 visa support docs
Hi everyone! when I filed my k1 visa for my fiance I was an MBA student and was unemployed. Now I have an office job with steady income for the past 6 months. Last year I did not file a tax return, however, they ask for most recents tax returns for DS-160. Will this jeopardize the chances of my fiance getting a visa? any information would be truly appreciated, thank you!!

@Es Dukaj As far as I know, the income plays big role because you are the person that going to take of your fiance financially since government is not responsible to support your fiance. However, if your income is not enough or you did not have income you should find someone from your family or someone that you know that worked and had enough income as a back up. this is like cosigner. hopefully that would help!
