I am not waiting but I had one scheduled beginning of August, and they keep rescheduling when it’s close to the appointment I don’t know what going on

So were you able to attend the interview, or was it rescheduled? And how long were you waiting before the scheduling??

I believe we were dq'd on April 23rd, 2024, we waited several months, even emailed several times with no updates. I think you should tell your fiance to involve his/her senator because i got a date after we involved them, and i am supprised you have been waiting since Jan i interviewed with someone who was dq'd in July n they had started the process in April. did you finish your DS160?

@Judith k yeah I finish my DS160 I even tried to expedite my case several time , am now confuse

@Umutoni i heard IR1 takes long but usually after NVC things are supposed to speed up, i would recommend you tell your spouse to involve the senator of his/her state, cz coming to a year without an interview is just too much.

@VickieHolliday, No, they did not, and they didn't ask for more documents either, though they told the lawyer through the senator's office that they wanted to verify my police certificate and relationship. Funny enough, during the interview, i was not asked to present evidence of the relationship, so i guess we now have to wait
