just received our green cards!
it’s been quite a ride, all together I lived almost 9 years in the US, was a student 20+ years ago with a J1 then a F1 and then I came back ~7 years ago on a H1-B which I kept too long, had to get a O-1 while my concurrent EB1-B was pending (I-140 accepted in 4 days in premium processing). We filed my case all together I-140, I-765, I-131 and I-485 for me and my 3 dependents, medicals included. Since we are ROW, my PD was then Feb 27 2024. We had a RFE on the I-485 (transferred from TX to NBC as most employment based cases) about birth certificates and asking for I-485J. we got EAD and some APs approved in 61 days, the I-485 in 76 days and today we received 3 out of 4 cards, 1 is coming next week apparently (the only kid who got a EAD/AP combo). I know this is super fast and I realize how lucky I’m when I see many people here waiting for hundreds of days to be current. I happy to answer questions or give more info on our timeline.
